
This report reviews the National Dam Safety Program’s activities and accomplishments during fiscal years 2018 and 2019. It highlights state assistance grants, technical and collaborative assistance programs, training seminars, and the implementation of the Rehabilitation of High Hazard Potential Dams Grant Program. The document also covers advancements in dam failure consequence modeling, risk communication, and emergency preparedness training for dam safety professionals and community officials. Emphasis is placed on reducing risks from dam failure through interagency coordination, technical support, and public outreach.
