501(c)(4) Homeowner Associations Now Eligible for FEMA Dam Safety Grant

The Rehabilitation of High Hazard Potential Dams Grant Program (HHPD), administered by the National Dam Safety Program (NDSP), provides technical, planning, design and construction assistance in the form of grants for rehabilitation of eligible high hazard potential dams. A state or territory with an enacted dam safety program, the State Administrative Agency (SAA), or an equivalent state agency, is eligible for the grant. Eligible subrecipients under the HHPD grant program include non-federal governmental organizations (other than the designated applicant) and nonprofit organizations.
