DSS-WISE HCOM: Human Consequences of Dam-Break Floods Fact Sheet

This fact sheet introduces DSS-WISE HCOM, a FEMA-supported analytical module for assessing the human consequences of dam-break floods. The tool provides automated mapping of flood hazard risk zones, identifies potentially lethal flood zones for different population groups, and analyzes people at risk using census and gridded population data.
