
DSS-WISE™ Lite is a web-based automated two-dimensional dam-break flood modeling and mapping tool developed by the National Center for Computational Hydroscience and Engineering at the University of Mississippi, with support from FEMA. The tool provides a range of capabilities such as automatic preparation of input files, high-speed computational simulations for emergencies, and the production of geospatial results compatible with GIS software and HAZUS-MH. It is used for hazard classification, ranking, priority setting, emergency action plan preparation, and response planning.
