FEMA conducted an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Rayhill Memorial Trail project in New Hartford, New York, following the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) guidelines. The project aims to restore the trail and mitigate local flooding after storm-induced erosion. The EA evaluated potential environmental impacts of the proposed actions and alternatives, concluding with a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI). The project will involve embankment restoration, floodplain bench construction, and installation of rock structures to reduce erosion.
